The Chinese market provides excellent growth opportunities for French companies, but it is the world's most competitive, complex market too.
 
The FFC's wish is to provide companies all the help they need to promote their products and adapt them to meet the expectations of Chinese consumers.

With this aim in mind, in 2015 the FFC organised an exhibition in Hong Kong entitled "500 Years of French Passion for Shoes". Market players were able to present their wealth of skills and knowledge by displaying old and new models. A pop-up store was also set up near the exhibition. This touring exhibition will be shown in the near future in Shanghai within the Kerry Centre shopping centre.

Any commercial success is dependant on companies' ability to adapt to consumers' expectations, so the FFC has initiated research in this area, the most recent piece entitled "French Footwear for Chinese Market".
